Rowing Fun In Harrogate

Hey,

So you know when it's summer holidays and you just forget what day it is..well that happened to me and somehow a week passed just like that oops. But I've set a reminder now so I won't forget.

I've been doing more of my wreck it journal recently and I love it. I made this paper chain and hung it on my new rose gold hanger I bought for uni (from primark if you really wanna know)
Look here's a rainbow to brighten anyone who's having a shitty day! I took it again because the cable got in the way...

So I decided to die my hair pink again but this time do it myself and it actually worked a lot better so see hairdressers aren't everything you know, it's a lot cheaper too.
Tadaaaaa
As you know I have a little cactus family that I looked after at uni and my favourite cactus (because it grew 2 ears) has grown another baby one. Look how cute:
Last Wednesday, me and my friend went on the boats in Knaesborough in Harrogate it was so much fun. Took me a while to get used to how to do it which often ended up in us underneath a bush trapped. It gave us good photo opportunities though..there's always a silver lining;)

This was the river we were in, it was such a pretty view:
Okay so that's it for today, this time I can genuinely promise I'll post next Sunday as I've set a reminder so I won't forget.

Enjoy your holidays/days off if you're working!
Byeeeee then,
Sophie

Summer Loving

Hey,

Seems like I often start by apologising for not posting when I say I should but I've just been exhausted after getting back from my cousins, they've got a pretty mad house. So I'm glad to be back, definitely home sweet home!

But hey it's actually Sunday and I'm posting, what an achievement right;)

Recently I bought a light box from new look which I've been wanting for ages, doesn't it look so cute in my room. I put my light up letter S that my brother got me for my birthday on top as well.
In Northern Ireland, while we were there we went to Giant's Causeway which was cool. I hadn't been there for at least 3 years, it was smaller than I thought but I guess we were kids back then (weird I sound like an adult when I say that..adulting is odd and yes I just made up a word) Gotta love english! It's why I study it, you must admit it's interesting how fast our vocabulary increases..or maybe I'm just an english nerd.
I walked over this bridge and thankfully unlike last time it wasn't pissing it down! Also for any game of thrones fans out there, a lot has been filmed in this part of NI.

Now this is the exciting stuff as I've always wanted to go to a gay pride march and especially more after watching sense 8 on Netflix. It's an amazing show by the way, basically about how 8 characters are connected but it has great LGBTQ+ representation.

So me and my family went to the one in Belfast (total coincidence it happened while we were down there but I'm glad as I missed the Leeds one)

Everyone was so happy and there were some amazing outfits, the atmosphere was great!
After playing some crazy golf as it's like a family tradition for us too, we watched my uncle ride on his motorbike on this vintage race near their house.

We spotted a cool rainbow thing in the sky, a similar thing to which I showed you as that appeared on my 18th too. Does anyone actually know what it is and what it's called?!

Right so this is my attempt at a short but sweet (hopefully) post. Enjoy summer while it lasts, even if British summer means like a day of sun at most.

Talk to you next Sunday,
Byeeeee

19th Birthday Celebrations

Hey guys,

Sorry I've been so irregular posting, I'll try better I promise...

So I took these pictures a bit ago of Smudge and I just have to show you these cute ones of her in my garden.

That last picture I posted twice as Google edited it for me how kind (I can edit myself but everyone gets lazy sometimes)

I need to show you these purchases I bought from New Look (definitely not sponsored, you think they give a shit about my opinion..) but I do love their home section and look what I found.

Here's me in my natural habitat of a garden centre surrounded by my all time favourite things aka flowers. Of course I posed with them:
GUESS WHERE I WENT AGAIN! Friends fest, that's right..for the 2nd time I went again but they had new stuff set up so it wasn't just the same things there. I spammed my Instagram if you wanna check, my insta is linked on my blog but anyway self promo over this is what it looked like:

It was held in Sheffield's Hillsborough Park which was huge and it was such a nice day that I was so smart I didn't put any suncream on and ended up burning my legs so bad. They're still red now so I've definitely learnt my lesson.

Dunno if you lot know (I mean you can read the title) but you might not have known it was my birthday on the 17th July. 19 is just an awkward age really like it's nothing special and wasn't anything amazing as most of my friends were either working or on holiday but luckily one of my friends was free yay!

Before my birthday, I kept getting emails about Jack Whitehall's tour and since it was the day before my birthday and me and my uni friend wanted to meet it was the perfect excuse. I'm so glad I went because he was so funny. Earlier on my friend bought me this cute birthday cake how cute:
On my actual birthday me and my friend went to the oxygen trampoline park in Leeds which we've already been too but loved it so thought why not go again. I got some cool boomerangs for my insta;) We had a right laugh it's so funny. We went to MOD pizza after where you make your own pizza it's pretty cool and then she surprised me by telling the waiter it was my birthday so I got a free oreo chocolate milkshake, here's me acting pretty happy about it:

Oh I also got new glasses too from this new opticians called Ollie Quinn..

they have some really cool glasses, what do you think??

Now it's time to show you some of my birthday presents, one of my favourite presents is a daisy and leaf ring my mum got me and a jewellery case. Look how pretty:
But my favourite birthday present of all was my mum paying for me to have my blonde highlights redone and a pink toner put in! It's semi permanent but lasted longer than last time I had it done:
So I've been in Bristol staying with my uncle and his girlfriend but the main reason was to see my brother graduate from uni which was cool. It mainly involved clapping for complete randomers but it was nice seeing Bristol again as it's a lovely place.

Here's me admiring the views..
jokes here's me posing because I saw the cutest daisy bathroom mirror (yep typical me, a daisy ring just isn't enough;)

As part of our yearly tradition of going down to Bristol, we played crazy golf again which sadly I came last in but you know if you think about it differently I got the highest points so I technically won right;)

Here's my uncle's cat felix sleeping on me on my new floral jeans (from topshop if you care):
Right before I make this blog way too long I just have to say cheese bite crusts from pizza hut are amazing and you need to try them.

One last note, the intergalactic bath bomb from lush is so lovely:

Okay so hope you're all enjoying the summer holidays and respect to you if you're working because I worked throughout the sales and I was so done after that so good for you, keep going!
Talk soon, probably next Tuesday as I get back from Northern Ireland seeing my cousins then.
Byeeeeee,
Sophie
