Chill Week

Hey guys, I'm back at it again and on time!

Hope you've had a good week, mine has been busy as per because of uni.

So at york's campus there's this water fountain in the middle of the lake that changes colour and it's so pretty, here's it when it was pink:
As you can probably tell that was taken on my phone compared to my camera as it was taken after my lecture. This is when I wish I had a better camera so the quality was better on my phone but nope the new iPhone is way too expensive..cheers apple.

It has been freezing lately, it still definitely feels like winter to me but there has been some blue skies which make it better. It's the worst thing getting up for 9ams when it's dark and miserable out..
This is gonna be a short post as I probably should start being productive and get back to uni work but overall I haven't done too much this week aside from uni (crazy life I know..)

I'm off out tonight though with my course mates so that should be fun, talk to you next week!
Byeeee,
Sophie
PS: Netflix is a lifesaver putting all the series of Friends on, I'm enjoying binging my way through it all ofc

2nd Year Uni Life

Hey everyone,

Hope life's going good and if not then don't panic, life won't always be that awful.

So last Sunday me and my housemate went to one of our local pubs called The Plough in Fulford which is the area where we live. It was really nice and there was even a pub cat called Tom which obviously I just had to take a picture of:
It was very cute with all the light decorations and we ended up reserving table number eleven, which for any stranger things fans out there, that's pretty cool right?!
So do you remember how I was stressing about my presentation a bit ago well we got our final marks back and I got 93 how insane is that I definitely didn't expect to get a first! Luckily I had the loveliest group which made everything so much better.

So on Wednesday it snowed a little and it snowed more today but it's sad how it never properly settles anymore, screw global warming..
Just wanted to show you this pretty rose which my friend put there and I normally don't like fake flowers but real ones are so expensive and die pretty quickly. So I thought it looks cute on our windowsill!
On Wednesday night I went to see the greatest showman with a friend and it was amazing! I absolutely loved all the songs, I don't think the storyline was as good as La La Land's but still they're entirely different musicals. I would definitely recommend you seeing it if you're a musical fanatic like me.
We went to see it in the Everyman it was so fancy and nice.. this is what happens when I get my student loan in so I'm temporarily balling;)

To end off my first proper week back at uni I had a lovely bath and used the frozen bath bomb so it made the bath so cool and (you guessed it..) blue. Lush is my favourite shop!

Lastly yesterday I went to yo sushi for the first time with my friend I met at cat society (cooler than it sounds) and I was surprised how nice it was. There was so much choice and I loved the conveyor belt of sushi it was definitely cooler than some restaurants.
Yes this was a snapchat I screenshot from my friend and I look antisocial but I was doing the same thing my friend was..gotta get that snapchat story to make people jealous.

Hey now you're all up to date with my life. To end it off I wanted to show you everything on my windowsill as I have got a family of plants now I love it. I also have a diffuser (which is actually empty but at least it still looks aesthetically pleasing right) and a happy birthday candle which smells amazing. Do you like my rubber set of cacti aren't they so cute and of course my favourite cat statue.
So hope you all have a great week and I'm off to keep binging youtube and Netflix and pretending I don't have double the amount of modules I had last term...procrastination is key to uni life right;)

Done With January Exams

Hey everyone,

So I had my last exam at 9am yesterday (I only had 2 but there was a hell of a lot to know for both) and I'm feeling so relieved it's all over. I think they actually went well. Revision has felt like the bane of my existence recently (I may exaggerate..) and has made christmas holidays a mixture of good times and shit times.

How have I spent my new found freedom you may ask?
Netflix..always the answer (actually I was watching season 11 of big bang theory and catching up on celebrity big brother as it's my guilty pleasure alongside love island)

Obviously I'm gonna rewatch Friends as I haven't actually watched it all the way through in ages. I'm also ready to binge another new show, maybe the crown but who knows I have so much on my list. Any tv show recommendations??

So I've been looking back through my pictures and I've realised I haven't exactly done much because I've not really had a social life during my revision.

Anyway, I'm just gonna stop rambling and show you the cutest pictures of my cat (what else do you do when all else fails..) and yes I was in my pjs and dressing gown.
I'm pretty excited as I'm going to see The Greatest Showman in cinema today, apparently it's really good but anything with Zac Efron and Hugh Jackman is gonna be.

Very short post for today but I'll be back next week with way more photos I swear,

Happy New Year

Hey guys,

Sorry about posting 1 week later but on New Years Eve I was revising then went out with friends so didn't really have much time to write a post.

But I'm back (shoutout to the few of you that actually care)

So I haven't told you what I got for Christmas yet, I got a dusky rose pink polaroid camera which I've been wanting ever since I saw it on the urban outfitter sale as it came in a pack so it was cheaper. In general I've wanted a polaroid and now I've taken some pictures I'm so happy with it.

I also got the cutest cactus photo book (just to complete my cactus obsession ofc) and a too faced chocolate bar eyeshadow palette which smells like chocolate and has the prettiest colours it's amazing!

Right so I have to show you this cool star light I bought recently from the York christmas market.
The one to the left was the one I got my mum a few years ago and the one to the right was the one I just got.

Last week in some parts of the UK we've had some proper snow, finally! The only thing is it started melting after a few hours which is sad as I love snow. Here's the evidence it actually did snow, it may have been a few days late but it was sort of a white christmas after all:
As I was mentioning my polaroid camera earlier, here's some pictures of the christmas tree I took. Took me until the second picture to work out to get the frame right as the viewfinder is to the right of the camera. Also, ignore my mess of a nail..I hadn't got round to taking it off yet alright.
Last but not least here's smudge looking cute on a chair. Also if you're a cat lover like me then youtube cats seeing their owners after a long time (I swear I found this video accidentally I just couldn't resist and it ended up being the cutest video)
Yep that's about it then, I hope you all had the best Christmas with family and friends and are having a good start to the new year. Even if it involves revising for January exams like me...if that's the case for you as well then good luck!

I'll talk to you again next week (I promise okay) when both my exams are over ugh that's a weird thought. I have one on Saturday at 9am how grim...
Anyway, byeeee
Sophie
