Swans on campus

Hey guys,

So on Tuesday it was my housemate's 21st birthday so we had afternoon tea at the principal hotel in York. I actually had tea and liked it which is weird for me because I normally don't like tea or coffee.

We had a cute selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes as well as complementary champagne. I would say that's amazing but if I'm honest I don't even like champagne oops (yep I'm definitely not a normal 19 year old)

We ate in the garden room it was so pretty:

We then had mocktails after at slug and lettuce (again, we're not your typical students) but they were so delicious and looked amazing:

On Thursday as I was walking through campus and I spotted some cute swans!

Next Wednesday I'll be taking pictures on my proper camera of all the uni wildlife so I'll have even better pictures to show you.

I just have to show you these cute puppets we made for old english, so part of our project is to create a video of an old english text and this is what we created...

Lastly I have the prettiest picture of roses and a cherry blossom tree I found on my way to shop at Aldi. I just love flowers!

Right so I hope you all have a good week, I'm ending off the week well by watching avengers infinity wars and I'm so excited because I've managed to avoid any spoilers.

Heatwave in UK

Hey guys,

First of all if you live in the UK like me isn't the weather just lovely, I'd honestly forgotten what sun felt like. It's so nice now that it's warm in the evenings it honestly feels like I'm abroad.

So I took this pretty picture of my campus (look at the little duck)

We got a new rug for our living room, I am obsessed:

So it was just like any other uni day but then I saw that there was a plant sale and I just love plants so I couldn't resist. I went with my course mates and I got the cactus on the left, the other one I already had. Now my whole windowsill is full with cacti.

Tadaaaaa!!

What do you think? Yes I also have cacti bedsheets...

Then on Friday night out I went out with friends it was a lot of fun and yesterday I found out I passed my phonetics and phonology assignment and honestly I'm just so happy I didn't fail.

So I love a Netflix binge, I just finished watching the crown which is amazing and now I'm watching dynasty which I have gotten so addicted too.

Anyway enjoy our brief summer before the rain starts again,

York Home

Hey people,

It's funny saying I have 2 homes but it's true since I have my uni home and then my home back with my parents. It is pretty cool but already I'll be moving out to my 3rd year uni house this summer which just seems crazy. Time goes so fast at uni so you've just gotta make the most of it which is what I'm trying to do.

Anyway I'm now back in York but lets recap my week...

So on Monday I went to see my little cousins in Scarborough and I went on her hoverboard it was so fun (harder than I thought though) luckily I have quite good balance.

Then on Tuesday I got some new vans I'm so happy I've wanted new vans for ages now and I got student discount on them so it was less expensive (yep definitely still not cheap)

Just look how beautiful they are!! I've now got 4 pairs:

So we found Smudge's (my cat's) birthday certificate as we bought her from a breeder and she was 6 last wednesday how cool. I still remember seeing her as a kitten like it was just weeks ago.

Skip to Friday night and I went out with my friends, it was so good we started off in spoons then went to some other bars and my mum was a legend and picked me up as taxis are crazy expensive at night.

Now to today, I got back and my housemate has bought some cute plants! We're definitely a plant loving household (yes that even includes paper plants;)

Short but sweet right?!

Leeds Home

Hey guys,

So on Friday I went out to Lucia's with some friends and of course spoons after for drinks (wetherspoons if you don't know) Catching up with friends is just the best!

As you guys know I'm a bit obsessed with my cat, especially as I'm at uni so I don't see her all the time. She's just so photogenic:

Staying on the topic of Smudge (why not)

Here's one of her favourite things to do..crawl into small boxes and bags. 

As soon as I put the package down she crawled in, just look!

I don't know if any of you remember me saying, but I got a polaroid instax mini 9 for christmas and I needed a case. I found the prettiest one off amazon, look:

I can't wait to take loads of pictures when I go down to London for a long weekend with friends! We're also planning on using those bikes they have to explore the city more I can't wait.

Ever since I went on holiday and saw the cool head plant pots (sounds weirder than they look) I've wanted to create a typology as they're all slightly different but pretty cool. 

Tadaaaa I finally did it! Ignore the grey line I didn't put that there on purpose..

I needed another picture to fill up one of the final pages for my holiday photobook and I screenshotted this from a boomerang my mum took, isn't it cool! 

It's to go into my personalised phonebook (it says family holiday, Italy 2017) and a pretty cactus one (all my pics don't fit into one book I have so many..)

Last but not least here are some pretty flowers my brother just got my mum for mothers day (I mean better late than never right)

Happy Easter Sunday

Hey guys,

Hope you're having a good Easter holiday!

So one day I was just looking out my window and I didn't expect to see my cat Smudge on the neighbour's roof. She's just so funny like it's totally normal for her. Also how pretty are the daffodils!

I finally did my nails after ages and I'm so happy! Yes I took that picture on the bus but I have my cool ring on from accessorize.

So being the crazy cat lady I am I bought this hoodie which has a big pocket in to hold a cat and it's amazing. Look how cute Smudge looks.

Right now I'm about to have some of my easter egg as it's Easter after all. I have a malteaster and a mini eggs one so my favourite chocolate. Also I watched interstellar last night (I know 4 years behind the times oops) but it was really good and now I'm still contemplating space and the theory of relativity it's all insane.
