A Busy Week

Hey guys!
How has your week been?

I've been living life like a slob and I love it! It just feels so damn good not to revise anymore. So remember I was telling you how excited I was about orange is the new black..well I've watched all of season 4 and now I'm so sad. It was amazing and now I don't know what do do with my life. Episode 12 was the most heartbreaking episode I wasn't ready, I was crying my eyes out. Don't worry I'm not gonna give any spoilers because I'm not Satan. Clearly other people are because I found out a spoiler of what happened in episode 12 and I was so annoyed, it just ruins it so much and ugh I hate those types of people. So if you spoil stuff then please stop, I don't care if you think it's funny that people get so annoyed, how would you like it if somebody spoiled what happened in your favourite tv show?! Just think about that the next time you're gonna spoil something...(you can tell I'm very passionate about this;)

So on Wednesday I went to Harrogate to meet up with my friend to give her my present to my internet friend who my other friend is going to meet (sorry for how confusing that sounds, I tried) Well guess what, being the dumbass that I am...I forgot to bring the presents which was the main reason we went to meet up ugh I'm such an idiot sometimes. At least I met up with my other friend after she finished work so it didn't feel like a wasted trip which was good (even though if you think about it..it definitely was) So I (meaning my amazing parents) had to pay postage instead which sucks as one of the presents wasn't the smallest. Anyway she got them and she loved them so really that's all that matters (continues to eye roll at me trying to be a normal functioning human)

Then on Thursday I went to Leeds with my two friends to shop and I always say I'm not gonna buy anything. Yet I ended up with some shorts (they were pretty lacy denim shorts though) from new look and some friends pyjamas from primark. What can I say but we all do it right?!

There was this guy painting outside of one of the shoe shops we went too and omg he was amazing. I sneakily took a picture because I'm way too awkward to take the picture obviously. So that's my excuse for why the angle is so tilted but you can still sorta see it looks good! Amy Winehouse looks gorgeous.

After we went to this cafe called 'Nu Cafe' (I think) and my friends got Oreo milkshakes and I got an aero one. Honestly it looked better than it tasted, it was so sickly after you have it and we just had an Oreo cake to share before so not the best idea (but the cake was to die for)

Currently I have my colour on called 'purple rain' by autograph which I love.

I have a feeling this colour will become my new favourite.




So my friend introduced me and my other friend to this makeup shop (sorry can't remember the name it's just opposite & down from boots by trinity) and there was a sale so of course we ended up buying something. That's where I bought the most amazing nail polish colour above which I can't wait to use.

Last weekend I went with my family to pick up my brother from Bristol uni where he was staying with his mates for 2nd year. It's weird he will begin his 3rd year when I will begin my 1st year.

Anyway I took a picture out of his window because it was cute (sums me up..while he was finishing packing I was trying to be a photographer..emphasis on the trying)

To the right here is me bored and so taking pictures through his weird circular mirrors.

Looks cool I guess but so impractical, I'm all about practicality over style (well that says a lot...)

I got well excited as I saw some houses after that looked like the ones in Balamory and automatically sung the theme song (is it bad that I remember most of the words?!) I'm pretty sure they weren't the actual houses as I'm 99.9% sure Balamory wasn't filmed in Bristol (oh I wish..that would be childhood dreams to have a picture by those houses) On a serious note (as serious as you can be whilst talking about Balamory) but where was it actually filmed? I wanna go...

So I started to google where was balamory and it came up straight away with the word filmed, so see I'm not the only one. It's filmed in a place called Tobermory in the Isle of Mull (wherever the hell that is I'm off) Fun fact (that you'll never need to know) but the nursery scenes were filmed in Glasgow.

I made a digestive biscuit honeycomb cake and wow it was amazing! I'm so happy how it turned out, it isn't really a cake I mean it's more of a biscuit thing but it tastes so good. Also there was a layer of ice on the top because of trapped air bubbles or something but I just flipped it and it's fine. It's nearly all gone now, I feel so happy as I expected it to be a fail.

If I had posted this on Sunday (yeah sorry about that I'm so forgetful and then thought there's no point posting it at like 1 am) As I was saying, back then I was still dithering over 3 different prom dresses I ordered from ASOS. However today I went into Leeds with my mum and bought the prettiest black lacy prom dress. I love it as it'll definitely be a dress I'll wear again and even though I don't usually wear black this is an exception as I just love the lacy detail.

I thought I'd show you the ones I ordered anyway to see if you liked any because why not.
I love dress 1 but I feel like it's too poofy, 2 I don't think blue & gold suits me & 3 doesn't fit as well

After all that ordering that failed I am so happy I found a prom dress I genuinely really like and my friends like it too which is always good. So here is my official prom dress:

So what do you think? Do you prefer my final prom dress..or not?! Well it's too late now and honestly I do really like this dress. It got to 1am last night and I was still up of course, I was stressed about not properly liking any of my prom dresses and I found this beautiful sage green prom dress which only had size 14 the first time I looked but I thought hey what's the harm in checking to see if they have restocked and they had!! So in my tired delirious 1am state I thought yes even though I'm size 6 they had size 8 so surely it could be adjusted. Bare in mind I didn't expect to find a prom dress today so yeah got another prom dress arriving tomorrow (I ordered next day delivery) so unless I love it then I'm gonna stick with my new black number (don't you think calling a dress a number is cute..okay this post has already been way too long I'll stop..)

No More Exams!

Hi guys!
OMG CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW I HAVE NO MORE EXAMS!!

NO MORE REVISION I HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER!!

Okay I'll stop shouting now but if you're in the same position as me then hell yeah you'll know how I'm feeling. So sorry to everyone who doesn't finish until the end of July but I am so happy right now (not to brag but I'm done with school and you're not;)

My 3rd psychology exam went okay I think, the 12 marker was on token economy programmes which was amazing! Then the 18 marker (basically 6 marks for spelling..how annoying) was on ethnocentrism which I had revised. Then the other questions were good, so yeah not gonna overanalyse it too much but it didn't go badly so that's good. Lastly my final exam which was English (for 2 & a half hours I bet you wish you were me..) went good! The first question was a transcript so I was happy then the other question compared this old memoir with a new autobiography of Benedict Cumberbatch. I wrote 3 and a half pages for both which is the most I've ever written and I know I dropped some theorists in there which is good. So just hoping for the best because I did work my butt off (fingers & toes crossed)

OKAY GUYS..
Season 4 of Orange Is The New Black came out last Friday. Of course as soon as I woke up I watched it, I watched 4 episodes that day I was loving life. Hopefully some of you have started watching it but isn't it so good?! I love how they have brought back Piper Chapman as the protagonist, she is an amazing actor. I do hope her and Alex get back together. Also how adorable are Poussey and what's her face (honestly I googled her for like 5 minutes and couldn't find her name anywhere and I was worried about seeing spoilers so I stoppped) but yeah I was so happy for Poussey because in season 3 she was so unhappy on her own; it's good to see her happy again with someone.

So today I am off to Bristol to pick up my brother as he's finished his 2nd year of uni (time has gone so fast wtf) So we're driving down so he can bring all his crap back...4/5 hour journey here we come! Honestly I don't mind car journeys as I usually either fall asleep/listen to music/listen to youtubers podcasts. I'm bringing a pillow and blanket so I am super prepared. I am wearing my friends "cafe perk" jumper and my floral black & white skinny trousers which I love so yeah travel outfit sorted. It's weird being up this early but I better post it now as I don't get back until quite late.

Hope all your exams are going well or have gone well! But remember grades aren't everything in life, there's something called resits and for a lot of people you don't need high grades to get the job you want (so bear that in mind you know)

Also it's Father's Day today and it's been a tradition ever since I was young to draw my dad his card and for birthdays as well. So I've kept up the tradition (also saves me money which is good) and so I know he loves dragons. So I drew him a big dragon and a baby dragon hatching from it's egg which ngl I'm pretty proud of. I took a picture to show you so here:

To the left I was trying to be artsy with the way I positioned my sharpies but looking back now they need to be further up so yeah I tried to be artsy but failed..what do you think of my drawing though?

I also got my dad a lint chocolate assortment which looked cool which has chocolates like crème brûlée which sounds good. Seriously though what else do you buy dad's like chocolates is all I ever get my dad like don't you think mum's are way easier to buy for?! So yeah enjoy Father's Day and hope you all have a lovely day with your dad's. Although if you don't have a dad then I hope you have another lovely day with your mum or relative or whoever the hell you wanna spend your day with. At the end of the day, most true meaningful relationships are special, you don't have to be connected by blood for those relationships to form.

Surviving Revision

Hey people!
Hope you're all good!

So I had my second psychology exam which I think went okay! I'm only gonna say a few things about it because I don't like to try judge how well I did (done that before and just left me feeling annoyed so..) the only annoying thing was on a 12 marker I forgot to compare the descriptions but I did the descriptions so hopefully that's only a few marks lost. Then I accidentally started talking about a lab experiment when it was a field but I did put other points down so I shouldn't lose too much, apart from that some good questions came up (yeah that feels weird to say but you know what I mean right?!)

Well as I'm furiously revising for exams, I didn't get up to much this last week. The only time I went outside was for volunteering (I'm not even exaggerating..) Although when it is nice and sunny outside I'll go and revise outside so that makes it more bearable. So tip if you hate missing the sun when you have revision to do, just do revision outside instead.

The ice cream man came down our street so of course me and my mum got an ice cream, I always feel bad for them as often they'll come and no one will buy anything, especially if it's a rainy day.

Yep you know I took a picture to make everyone on my snapchat extremely jealous;)


Now unless you don't like ice cream then as well as being a weirdo then you won't be jealous, but majority will!

So who is excited for season 4 of Orange Is The New Black to start next Friday! I can't wait, I'm so keen that I've set a countdown (yep some people have social event countdowns but I have tv show countdowns) I honestly can't wait, I keep seeing the trailers and it looks so good. Anyone else hear Alex talking about the secret in it, I didn't realise until someone said.

Of course I'm ending with pictures of Smudge, I just find it funny the weird ways smudge lets me hold her. I think it's because ever since she was a kitten she has been held like a baby so now she's super chill about it which I love.

^Don't you think she looks so pissed off, she was genuinely comfy she was just very sleepy (I think anyway..I hope)

How adorable, the second picture makes me laugh because the way she was sat, she was just chilling with her legs up! The last one is just her in her normal habitat in bags, she is kinda obsessed.

Now I better continue with my revision, 3 flashcards down..14 to go (yep I'm not only crying on the inside but also the outside) Thanks for the distraction from revision, you guys are awesome;)

3 A Level Exams To Go

Hey guys!
Hope you're all well

This week has pretty much been full on revision. Although I went out on Friday with my friends to get a wagamamas which was amazing! I got the chicken and prawn yoka soba (think it was called) it was thin noodles and wow it tasted so good.

Last Tuesday I went to meet another youtuber (you can tell I have a thing for youtubers) in Leeds. He was so lovely, if you're interested he's called Oli White and released a book called Generation Next. It's a novel rather than an autobiography so that should be good, we also got a picture. My favourite thing is whenever I go to signings I always get the youtuber to take the pictures and they always spam my phone so I end up with loads of choice. It's on my Instagram justsoph_x (if you wanna give me a follow as well that'd be nice)...you don't have too though

Before I talk about boring exam stuff I went shopping on Tuesday and bought the most adorable top from primark, you can't say it isn't the cutest thing:

Still so in love with my new rings and yeah I don't hide my cat obsession very well as you can tell by my bright pink phone case

So my next exam is child and criminal psychology so I've been focusing on that. I've done all the revision for it which is good and now I've just been doing exam papers. I've done 4 in total as that's how many I did for unit 2. Then my exam is this Wednesday so fingers (and toes) crossed!

The annoying thing is that I've had like 2 weeks to revise for this exam but I've only got 5 days to revise for clinical and issues and debates which is harder than unit 3. So I'm trying to do a bit of both but failing. I've done all my English flash cards now I just need to learn them before as my exam is the day after my last psychology one.

My friend recently ordered a free graze box as you get your first one free so of course I had to get one too. I'll show you a picture of what I got but I was so happy, I made sure I binned and clicked love on the ones that looked good on the website so I would get all the stuff I genuinely like..my plan worked!

Ooh I'm off to see Me Before You in the cinema after my english and last exam with a few friends which I can't wait to see. Sam Claflin (lead male actor) was in the hunger games and Love Rosie so I know he's gonna be good (also very attractive am I right;) I've heard the girl is from game of thrones but I don't watch it so I wouldn't know (I know shock horror..sorry)

Orange is the new black! I'm so excited, me and my friend have been singing the theme song for ages now, it's the best. It's so true that at first you think it's too long but then you get obsessed with it.

So I made a depop account to see if I could earn some money as I have so many old clothes I don't want and I need money. It's so much more simple than eBay, right now I've only got 2 items on there but you can have a look if you want! My username is justsoph_x (same as my Instagram I know I'm so creative..)

I wish you all loads of luck for your exams and well done if you made it through all your exams alive (that's a pretty big achievement tbh) I can't wait until I'm exam free!!

I'm so sorry for not posting on Sunday but I completely forgot and I blame tennis for that as I was getting frustrated as Andy lost to Novak again ugh. I don't like Novak he is just so like a robot, he needs to go. Also I think tennis is the only sport I'm into right now but I genuinely like it and of course I'm always supporting Andy as he is British/Scottish.
