Hey guys!
So the first week back at school actually hasn't been too bad. It's just
mostly focused on revision now as it's getting closer to exams (ugh I said
the dreaded word I'm sorry) I have 5 exams which for me I'm like ugh
that sucks but I know some people who have 10 and even 13 exams..so if
you're one of those people then just wow I feel for you (and also good
luck!)
My sleeping pattern has been so messed up over the Easter holidays so
attempting to get up at 7 on Tuesday was pretty painful. I got a lie in
on Monday though so I guess I can't complain about that, it's my
favourite day of the week as I only have 1 lesson;) On a sorta serious
note, I need to start going to bed earlier as by the end of the week I'm
just completely exhausted and half dead...(then I just have no energy
to do anything at the weekend) So my aim for next week is to be in bed
by 9 reading and then I'll read for like half an hour or an hour then
sleep. If I actually follow through with that plan that'll be amazing
since I usually don't go to sleep until 10/11/12 most nights oops. It's
especially not good when we do mocks in class which I actually wanna do
well in so I know where I'm at.
Quick little anecdote for you but you know those times where something
embarrassing happens to you but you aren't with anyone you know so it
gets awkward. Well I experienced this delight earlier... so I got new
metal clips just on the edge of my shoes to strengthen them and I forgot
how slippy it is on certain surfaces. I was proper power walking
(basically just walking fast) and slipped (flinging my arms out to steady myself) and I actually said "oh shit"
to myself so not only do people think what a clumsy fool they also think
I talk to myself..great!
So I came home after school last week and my cat was fast asleep on my
bed! She just looked so cute I couldn't help but get out my dslr (yep
she really was that cute)
Fun fact: I ended up waking up Smudge (my cat) after positing myself so that the label wasn't in the shot anymore...which is why she's sat up in the next shot (oops)
(Random point but..)
Those times where you laugh hysterically are my favourite. Life is great
sometimes and amongst all the stress you need to be able to unwind and remind yourself it's okay too. My slogan I try to stick by is that your mental health is always more important than school, no matter how much pressure teachers/parents may put on you for doing well, how you are coping is way more important! After watching Michael McIntyre's Big Show yesterday it reminded me how
funny he is, just so relatable. It also reminded me how much I loveeee comedy (yep those extra e's are necessary)
Hope you're week went better than you thought it would!
Talk soooon!

Ps you might not care but I finally finished my english coursework and media text. I'm well happy since that should get me a solid A so that puts less pressure on the exam yay!
