Hey guys, hope you've had a good Easter break!
This week has gone so fast compared to the other week, I feel like I've
been more productive last week. I just struggle to get up before 12 at
the moment even when I go to sleep at a decent time, but I have been
going to sleep at 1/2 sometimes so my sleeping pattern is pretty messed up.
I went to my last applicant day on Wednesday which was York St John but
if I'm honest I only went because I got an unconditional offer, but I'm
glad I went because going there made me like York uni even more. I do
love the town York itself as it is such a cute lovely place and not too big
that'd I'd get lost in (although it is me so I can get lost anywhere..)
It started off as a really nice and sunny day but of course when I took the pictures, the day turned quite cloudy. There was this amazing photoshop effect to brighten/darken just the sky but ever since I got the newer version for Christmas I can't find it..so typical.
do you like my attempt at a fancy lay out of pictures...nah neither do I
So I went to see my best friend who I don't see as often anymore ever since
she left sixthform after a year to go to college. It
wasn't her fault just in the end her grades were too low for her to
continue which sucks. BUT I went to see her on Thursday in Leeds before
she went to a concert with her boyfriend and it was so lovely to catch
up! It's so amazing to have someone you'd literally tell everything too,
she just gets me you know (friendship is pretty great sometimes) Also
her boyfriend bought me a drink and shared his chips with me and her so
huge boyfriend points to him.
To top the great day off I went to see Pixie Lott at the Grand in Leeds
play Holly in Breakfast At Tiffanys which she was really good in. She
sang a few songs and wow her voice is beautiful, the only thing was she
put on such a rich southern accent I could hardly understand her at
times. They based it on the book rather than the film though which was a
surprise but it was still good just less hollywoodised than the movie
(yep that's totally a word what you on about;)
My auntie and cousin came around to stay at ours the Friday and Saturday
night and because I haven't seen them in 2 years I got ridiculously
nervous to greet them. It's so horrible I can't help it I remember
hearing them arrive and messaging my friends and thinking about it made
my heart beat like crazy in my chest, it's weird because I'm not as
bad with meeting absolute strangers but it's just something about
meeting family relatives who you hear loads about but then often don't
see each other regularly because of distance. Like how do you greet
them, a mutual wave or a hug who knows?! Turns out after the first
meeting they were both so lovely and it's annoying how anxious I get
when it never turns out as bad as I think it will but it's hard to stop
that feeling of dread. They came around as my cousin has applied for
Leeds Trinity Univeristy and so she went to the applicant day on the
Saturday and they came over from Ireland so it made sense for them to stay
for a few nights.
GUESS WHAT..
I just got payed £20 for looking after my neighbours cats (which I told you about last week) and got some
chocolates and the cutest card! She named the stray cat napoleon which is just so adorable. I'm so happy because I loved looking
after the cats, in my opinion it was the best job ever.
Isn't that the cutest card, I did literally say 'aww' out loud I found it so adorable.
I'm sure most of you will be rushing getting work done for hell erm I mean school tomorrow. Of course I have loads to do as well so I better go, I posted on the right day for once yessss.
Good luck with your first week back at school! Or just work/college/uni/etc, try have fun!
